  • RECREATIONAL CLASS CURRICULUM
You can enroll in our ongoing courses at any time. We recommend starting on Part 1 of the month so you don't miss out on learning any of the choreography. Enrolled students will have access to weekly videos to review choreography. Each of our classes are 55 minutes long, and we recommend arriving 5 minutes early to each. Part 1 - We've chosen a new song for the month ahead. Our lesson kicks off with warm-ups and foundational exercises. Students will delve into the first segment of choreography, laying the groundwork for their dance piece. Part 2 - We'll review the choreography taught previously and then introduce new elements to add to the routine. Students refine dance moves and expand their dance vocabulary as we progress forward! Part 3 - We'll take a comprehensive look at the choreography learned in both Week 1 and Week 2, ensuring everyone is comfortable with the steps. Students will learn the final segment of choreography, completing this month's dance routine. Part 4 - An exhilarating culmination of your efforts throughout the course. Our dedicated staff transforms the studio with ambient lighting, setting the stage for a memorable celebration of your progress and dedication. This week, we focus on perfecting the full dance routine, with instructors assisting students in refining their stylization and polishing details. Part 4 is a favorite among students, who often dress in their favorite dance attire for the final filming of their routines. This recorded video serves as both a testament to their growth and a cherished keepsake. Students can download this final dance video to track their progress and hold onto the memories of their journey with us. Let's make this Part 4 one to remember! **Please Note: Being filmed is optional and students are more than welcome to step out of any filming we do. We want all of our students to feel completely comfortable. Enroll today! Dance enrollment consists of an ongoing program billed at $79/month per program. You are able to enroll in as many classes as you’d like. Auto payments are processed on the 1st of every month. *** No long term contract :) You may cancel at any time, for no fee, up until 1 week prior to the next month billing cycle by filling out this cancellation form. We are so excited to welcome you to our dance family!
  • WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
We recommend that you dress as if you are going to the gym. The more comfortable you feel, the better you dance! Both of our locations have restrooms for you to change in if necessary. HIP-HOP CLASS: Clean sneakers work nicely. (Clean meaning no mud/dirt stuck to the bottom of your shoes.) HEELS CLASS: If you are taking a heels class, you can pack a pair of shoes with heels so you can tests out in class. Shoes with ankle support are suggested. You do not need to wear heels if you are not comfortable in them. Sneakers will work just fine. CLASSICAL STYLES OF DANCE: Ballet shoes, socks, or bare foot for contemporary.
  • WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
All that we require you to bring is a smile, a positive attitude, and plenty of water!
  • WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO CLASS?
Students generally arrive about 5 minutes before class starts. We have waiting areas for you to relax in before the start of class.
  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO A DANCE CLASS?
Wear whatever is most comfortable for you. Most students wear shorts, leggings, sweatpants, t-shirts, or tank tops. The dress at our studio is comparable to what you would wear to workout at a gym. For Hip-Hop, any kind of sneaker will do. We do ask that you only wear CLEAN shoes on the studio floors. If it is muddy or rainy outside, we do ask that you bring a separate pair of shoes to change into for dance class. For our Heels classes, you are welcome and encouraged to wear heels, but they are not required to take the class. If you are not sure what high heels will work for you, wear sneakers and pack a few high heels to try in class. You may choose to wear sneakers instead.
